I was with my boyfriend in Ventanas, a V region’s beach… that night my parents and my sister had arrived to the house with us, we were watching tv, laughing about the “artists” in the Viña del Mar Festival… when the house started to shake … my first reaction was staying in the same place, in Ventanas there’s always movements and noises because it’s an industrial zone, there are a lot of industries like Enami, Cemento Melon, Oxiquim, Gasmar, Gnl Quintero and others… a very natural beach!… ¬¬ … but this movement lasted more than the common shakes… and every second the intensity increased… we leave the bedroom and we went to the door frame… I was very quiet but my mom and my sister were very scared, and my neighbors too… the prayers sounded high… the light wires began to sparkle and it was a blackout (very “chilensis” word to explain the light outages) and the beach seemed burning because the gas plant began to inflame like a form of escape the gas… it made the scene see more gloomy… the neighbors started to pass house by house in case of anybody need help in that moment… I think that nobody can’t sleep … me neither…
The next day I wanted go home (Santiago) because my pet was there… and I don’t knew as she was… around 3 o’clock we had communication with my aunt and she says that the roads was ok… we returned and my pet and the house was very good… but my mom was very worried about the family in the south of country… (Concepción, Los Angeles y Temuco)… we were without lights for four days… in that dead time… we started to help with my sister… we went to the fech and “Un techo para Chile”… and then with friends of Misiones started to reunited food to Cauquenes… that for a two weeks before returned to normality…
